Level Acquired Items
Konnichiwa Audistas! This is Kyonko-chan once again, here to update you with the latest Audista fashion.
The latest Patch 6040 generated excitement among the community as it brought about new features and a lot of new avatar items that are up for grabs. But aside from these, what’s special about this hottest update are the rare Level Acquired Avatar Sets.
They’re flashy and free. The catch? You have to reach a certain level requirement in order to receive these goodies. And no, don’t even think about bartering it for cash, as these items cannot be bought in the Fashion Mall.

See those pictures above? Those are the rare avatar sets I was talking about earlier.
So what are Level Acquired Avatar Sets?
Level Acquired Avatar sets are rare because not everyone can have them. It means you can only get these if you reach a certain level and these serve as a reward right after you finish the license test, which you need to accomplish in order to level-up.
Now to make things more interesting, these rare sets are only available for levels 61, 71, 81, 91 and 99. That means that only the high-leveled players have the chance to receive and experience wearing these precious items. So if you really want to have even just one, you should be patient and diligent in leveling up your character.
One thing worth noting is the incorporation of wings on the apparels, except for Levels 61 and 71. We can recall that the first sets of winged items released are different from these; the Angel Prince and Princess of Love, the white and pink tandem worn by GMs and a selected few who won it at events..
Angel Prince of Love

Angel Princess of Love

The new avatar sets are different from the Angel Prince and Princess of Love because they possess a particular feature that differentiates them from the others. Aside from the unique avatar and the high level, the character also manifests a different spotlight effect with stars below him (but is not applicable for Levels 61 and 71). As for Level 99 players, the avatars exhibit a ‘floating effect’ which makes their avatars fly, literally.

Now, I’m going to share some information about the origin of these outfits.
Look carefully at the pictures, do you notice something familiar? Have you already seen them before?
Like at the item set for Level 81, if you are familiar with the Japanese animation series entitled “Trigun” and “Rozen Maiden”, then seeing these would ring a bell especially to otakus out there.

Pictures of Vash the Stampede of “Trigun”
The male avatar item set is based on Vash the Stampede’s clothes. He is the main protagonist of the Japanese comic animated series “Trigun”.
FUN FACTS: Trigun (トライガン Toraigan) is a Japanese manga series which was adapted into an anime in 1998, airing a total of 26 episodes.
Vash the Stampede (ヴァッシュ・ザ・スタンピード Vasshu za Sutanpīdo) is also known as The Humanoid Typhoon, a wandering gunman with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head. The only difference between the original outfit and the level 81 male avatar is the supplementary white wings.

FUN FACTS: Rozen Maiden (ローゼンメイデン Rōzen Meiden) is also an anime adapted from a manga series. In TV Asahi’s “Top 100 Anime Ranking” poll in 2006, Rozen Maiden ranked 9th on the list. Suigintou (水銀燈) is one of the Rozen Maiden dolls.
As I’ve observed, even though the game was originally made in Southern Korea and most of the items are inspired by their artists, there are also those that are emulated from anime series like those that I’ve mentioned. These may not be related to music and dancing; we can say that it is also a game of fashion which features different trends from different countries.
That’s all for this month’s feature, see you on our next Audition Fashion Insider for more information about the latest Audista craze. Ja mata ne, Audistas! :3

INTRODUCTION
A Battle Party is a game mode in Dance Battle Audition in which players form a team to defeat NPCs to gain a large amount of DEN, albeit no EXP points can be accumulated. Players can choose from a wide variety of NPCs, each with corresponding amounts which also indicates its level of difficulty. Of course a higher price tag parallels to a more challenging opponent, one who practically chains dramatically without hesitation. The Beat Rush Battle Party is similar with the Normal Battle Party except that the game is executed in Beat Rush mode and not the normal 8key mode. Continue Reading…

This interview was done by one of our co-correspondents, Jen Paredes (a fellow Kyonko fanatic XD). Since we weren’t able to cover the big event, she contributed a short article for us to post here instead. Thanks a lot, Jen~!

The 24-Ever Gamefest started at 10AM. A lot of people attended the event early and registered at the e-Games booth. Some of them were lucky enough to win prizes such as brickgames and vouchers. Continue Reading…
